POSITION SUMMARY Develop construction designs and costs for installation of electrical and fiber facilities using standard engineering practices in accordance with RUS and NESC specifications.  Works with members, public officials, contractors, line crews and customer service personnel to ensure efficient and cost-effective projects and work flow. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Consults with consumers and personnel in other departments as needed to discuss design plans, calculate estimates for cost of construction as well as line retirements.
