Performs fiber design functions requiring competencies in project planning, building, and maintaining the GTC/Family of Companies fiber optic infrastructure. Independently develops, designs, evaluates, selects, and/or applies guidelines, procedures, and fiber design techniques and standards in an economically efficient and sound fiber designing manner. Maintains and updates documentation for fiber optic networks, including inside and outside plants. This position requires a strong understanding of fiber optic infrastructure construction, maintenance, and spatial planning.
