Are you a forestry professional who thrives outdoors, enjoys leading teams, and takes pride in maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable electric service? If so, we’re looking for someone like you to join our team.
We are currently seeking a Supervisor of Vegetation Management to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of vegetation clearing and maintenance across our electrical distribution and transmission systems.
In this role, you’ll supervise both internal teams and contractors performing vegetation management activities. You’ll be on the front lines of reliability—ensuring trees and brush don’t interfere with critical electrical infrastructure—while also keeping safety, environmental compliance, and customer service top of mind. We will rely heavily on this position to support long-term planning for vegetation management that is closely aligned with system growth through the use of data analytics and system wide monitoring.
This position requires someone who is a strong communicator and hands-on leader with deep technical knowledge and the ability to get things done safely and efficiently. We need someone who is not afraid to get in the field, manage people, timelines, and regulations effectively. The position requires 7+ years of experience in utility vegetation management or electric utility operations. A Bachelor’s degree in Forestry or a related discipline or a technical degree in the forestry field with equivalent experience is required. Applicants must possess a Current ISA Utility Arborist Certification, Part 107 sUAS Remote Pilot Certificate, and TDA Applicator’s License or have the ability to obtain them upon hire.
