East-Central Iowa Rural Electric Cooperative (ECI REC) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Apprentice Lineworker to be located at our Operations Center in Independence, Iowa. ECI REC is a member-owned electric distribution cooperative currently serving over 7,000 members throughout 11 counties in the East Central Iowa region. About This Position: As an Apprentice Lineworker, you are responsible for managing a variety of tasks in order to distribute electricity to our members. A few of the key tasks include constructing, replacing, and maintaining electric distribution lines, structures, and equipment.
