KAMO Power is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing/Fleet Specialist II. This is a non-exempt position that is responsible for assisting in the procurement of materials, supplies, equipment, and services necessary for the construction, maintenance, and operation of KAMO facilities and fleet at our Vinita, Oklahoma facility. In addition, this role plays a key part in requisition review and processing, purchasing, receiving, and distributing materials and equipment, maintaining accurate physical inventory records, and ensuring compliance with internal policies as well as applicable external regulations and procedures.

Qualifications: • Associate’s degree or two (2) year technical degree in related field is preferred • Two (2) to four (4) years’ experience in purchasing and/or fleet procedures. • General knowledge of: – purchasing procedures and how materials and supplies are ordered and handled. – inventory control and fleet recordkeeping processes. – understanding of accounting procedures related to purchasing, invoices, and financial recordkeeping. – electrical and utility materials such as substation components, transmission line hardware, telecommunications equipment, and fleet equipment, with a willingness to learn RUS-approved materials and processes. • Equivalent industry experience may potentially be considered toward substitution of degree requirements.
