Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative has an immediate opening for an Accounting & Budgeting Manager.  The primary functions of this position will be to supervise the accounting and budgeting team ensuring training and processes are in place to handle transactions accurately and timely.  Responsible for the preparation of the operating and capital budgets for submission to the Senior Vice President & CFO and the President & CEO.  Prepares the annual budget presentation for the Board of Directors.  Actively monitors systems and processes and regularly evaluates for improved efficiency.  This position will also supervise and coordinate the preparation of various annual and monthly reports for external and internal use.  This position will be the primary source for orches
