Under limited supervision, this person is responsible for managing activities of the warehouse to include maintaining an adequate inventory of supplies and equipment, etc. in stock so that overhead and underground crews have materials available to complete work properly and in a timely manner. They are also responsible for issuing items to appropriate personnel, maintaining records, etc.
Training and experience for this job includes a high school diploma or GED with one to two years of experience in inventory control, storage, and material handling, or any equivalent combination of education and experience, which provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities. It is preferred that the person filling this vacancy holds a valid South Carolina commercial driver’s license (CDL), if not, it is required to be obtained within two years of hire.
