Golden Valley Electric Association (GVEA) is looking for an energetic individual as our Healy Maintenance Planner located at our Power Plants in Healy, Alaska. This full-time position earns a competitive starting wage of $103,205.00 Annually. A day in the life of a Healy Maintenance Planner can look like:
Planning the day-to-day and long-term outage maintenance planning to ensure both Healy Coal Plants are reliable, safe, and efficiently maintained. Reviewing, issuing, and monitoring work orders to the maintenance management system. Observing the status and progress of projects to ensure timely completion and close-out.
Eligibility
A two-year technical degree or certification in the industrial field preferred. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of education requirements.
Minimum of ten years maintenance experience in an industrial coal-fired plant or related relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience with labor contract administration.
Demonstrated contractor supervision experience.
