KAMO Power, located in Vinita, Oklahoma is in search of an Inventory Technician I. The work location will be the Vinita Service Center. KAMO offers an exceptional compensation and benefits package including 100% paid employee medical coverage and employer base contribution 401k plan.
The Inventory Technician is responsible for assisting with fulfilling all the duties related to maintaining inventory of materials, supplies and equipment for construction, maintenance and operations of KAMO facilities. Position will assist with pulling and stocking inventory materials, physical inventory of materials, tools and equipment. Operate material handling equipment as well as transport materials, identification of surplus, obsolete and scrap materials and equipment.
Ideal candidates should have a general knowledge of electrical apparatuses, including substation components, telecommunications equipment and transmission line hardware. The position requires a general understand of shipping and receiving freight, material inventory procedures, computerized inventory techniques and material handling practices.

An Associate’s Degree or two (2) year technical degree in related field is preferred. Zero (0) to two (2) years’ experience in purchasing and inventory procedures. Equivalent industry experience may potentially be considered toward substitution of degree requirements. Applicants must maintain a valid Class A Driver’s License (CDL) or have the ability to obtain one. Forklift Operator Certification a plus but not required.
