Position Summary
The Director of Strategy & Analytics provides direction, oversight and management for the Enterprise Projects and Analytics departments for both CoServ Electric and CoServ Gas. These departments are responsible for the planning, design, implementation and operation of processes and programs that improve organizational performance through effective planning, prioritization, and measuring of enterprise initiatives and operations.
Primary Position Responsibilities
Translates organizational vision into actionable strategies, goals, and performance measures.
Oversees the enterprise project portfolio, ensuring initiatives are prioritized, resourced, and executed effectively.
Works closely with leaders across the organization to identify, define, prioritize, and implement projects that deliver results aligned with enterprise strategy.
Leads the development and execution of the enterprise data analytics strategy to deliver actionable insights that support decision-making and organizational performance.
Promotes a data-driven culture by equipping leaders and teams with dashboards and reports for measuring outcomes.
Oversees policies, procedures, and standards related to enterprise project management and data analytics.
Develops and ensures adherence to annual capital and operating budgets and develops multi-year forecasts related to the enterprise project portfolio.
Negotiates terms and conditions for contracts related to enterprise projects, technology, and services.
Champions innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence within the team and across the organization.
Complies with established CoServ safety and operating rules, procedures and guidelines including reporting unsafe practices to a supervisor.
Complies with established CoServ Information Security Handbook, policies, procedures, and guidelines including reporting suspected information security incidents to Tech Support.
Secondary Position Responsibilities
Attends CoServ University training as required.
Performs other duties and activities as directed.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Direct reports include the Enterprise Project Office Manager and the Manager of Data Analytics and Reporting.
Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains management-level staff.
Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Position Requirements
Experience, Education and Certifications Required
High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalency.
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
10+ years in Project/Program Management or Data Analytics with increasing levels of responsibility.
7+ years of supervisory experience.
Experience, Education and Certifications Preferred
5+ years of electric distribution utility experience
NRECA Management Internship Program
PMI Certification
