The IT project administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of IT initiatives, meeting business needs, and maintaining project timelines and budgets. The IT project administrator collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, define project scope, and ensure smooth project execution and successful outcomes. Skills in business analysis will bridge the gap between business needs and technology, ensuring that projects align with strategic goals of the cooperative.

Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, define project goals, and establish project success criteria.
Develop detailed project plans.
Elicit, document, and prioritize functional and non-functional requirements.
Create project schedules and allocate resources effectively.
Lead project teams and coordinate activities to ensure project tasks are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Conduct regular project meetings, status updates, and reviews to ensure alignment and transparency across teams.
Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and renewals.
Ensure vendor solutions align with project goals.
Foster a positive and productive team environment, promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Analyze existing business processes and workflows.
Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for process improvement.
Propose streamlined solutions.
In addition to these responsibilities, the IT project administrator may be assigned by the CTO to perform other duties from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications & Job Requirements:
Education/Experience:
Bachelor of Science in computer science, information systems or other computer-related degree from an accredited college or university is required.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a project manager/lead/administrator.
Solid understanding of business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI) is highly desirable.
Utility knowledge and NISC software experience preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication, oral presentations, the ability to build strong working relationships, and the ability to interact positively with employees at all levels within the organization.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Business analyst experience is a plus.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.

Ability to manage diverse work functions while balancing and adjusting priorities in accordance with changing requirements.

The IT project administrator shall have full authority to carry out these duties and responsibilities in conformity with established policies and procedures and shall utilize time in such a way as to fulfill the objectives of this position and the cooperative.
