Job Summary
The NRTC Sr Director, PMO is responsible for leading and managing the PMO function within the Broadband Solutions organization. The PMO function is responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's portfolio of projects, ensuring that they are aligned with the organization's strategic objectives, and that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Responsibilities
Developing and implementing project management methodologies, standards, and processes to improve project delivery efficiency and quality
Establishing and maintaining project governance frameworks, including project management tools, reporting systems, and risk management processes
Leading and managing a team of Project Managers/Project Coordinators to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, including executive leadership, business leaders, and external partners, to ensure that projects are aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives
Providing oversight and guidance to project teams to ensure that they are following established project management methodologies and processes
Monitoring project performance, identifying, and managing risks, and ensuring that project resources are effectively allocated
Preparing and presenting reports to executive leadership on project status, including progress, risks, and issues
Developing and managing project budgets, including forecasting, and tracking expenses
Contributing to the development and implementation of organization strategic plans, goals, and objectives
Participating in the recruitment, selection, and development of project management professionals
Tracking and reporting KPIs to measure the effectiveness of the PMO functions, identify areas for improvement, and demonstrate the value of the PMO to stakeholders

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent computer skills including proficient knowledge of project related software logic, methodology, and reporting (Microsoft Project) and the rest of the O365 suite of tools
Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal communications skills
Ability to work under deadlines and deliver results on time
Excellent organization skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks and deliver results within critical deadlines
Ability to interact in a positive manner with internal and external customers
ITIL, Scrum, Agile certifications a plus
Proven track record of managing project schedules, budgets, and contractual requirements
Minimum Education and Experience
10+ years of industry related experience required
Experience with a major MSO or Telecom provider preferred with 3+ years' project management experience within the cable TV, cellular, CLEC, ILEC or related industry
Ability to oversee and manage highly complicated projects
PM certification with PMP, MPM, IAPM, CompTIA or equivalent preferred
Bachelor's degree required. A combination of education and relevant experience may be substituted for degree
Physical Demands
Work is typically performed in a remote office setting
Occasionally travel may be required - 20%
