Wolverine generates and transmits electricity to its seven member-owners to provide electric power to their 268,000 member consumers located throughout Michigan's Lower Peninsula. As an electrical engineer you will be responsible for:
- Providing engineering support for Wolverine's electric power supply system including substation facilities, interconnections, generation sources, and transmission lines, with a focus on substation facilities.
- Project management support for construction and upgrade projects in the construction work plan.
- Maintaining current knowledge and adherence to North American Electric Reliability (NERC) cyber security requirements including the development of related procedures as needed.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
- Working knowledge of ANSI, IEEE and other equipment standards.
Preferred:
- 1+years experience in and engineering role.
- EIT registration.
- Understanding of National Electrical Safety Code requirements.
