Platte-Clay Electric Cooperative (PCEC) is looking for a Staff Engineer to help keep our electric system reliable, resilient, and ready for the future. We’re a member-owned, not-for-profit cooperative serving communities north of Kansas City — and we take pride in doing meaningful work that matters.

What You’ll Do

• Solve power quality and reliability challenges
• Lead system planning and construction work plans
• Support and enhance SCADA, AMR, and communications systems
• Oversee solar, pole attachment, and regulatory requirements
• Help improve system performance, voltage control, and restoration

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical(preferred) or Civil Engineering
• Working knowledge of power and energy systems, strong problem-solving skills, and clear communication
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts, technologies, and systems
