CVEA’s Operations Admin provides clerical support to the Operations Manager, supports and is back up to the Customer Service Representative and Staking Technician as needed, provides accurate clerical, accounting, and administrative support to the Engineering, Operations, and Management staff as necessary.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform as backup initial contact for new construction inquiries to ensure proper
  tracking, legal land description, fees, and account information is collected
• Compile, categorize, and distribute monthly and annual outage statistics
• Perform scheduled outage consumer communications for CVEA’s service territory and
  prepare related Trouble Call reports
• Update and distribute one-line drawings and sectionalizing diagrams to operations and
  generation plants and personnel
• Ensure proper archiving of drawings and ensure that CVEA standards are met with all
  drawing files
• Perform Mapwise and drawing updates
• Prepare and distribute necessary outage reports
• Responsible for weekly line crew safety meeting minutes and distribution
• Perform receptionist duties as needed to include answering the phone, referring
  members and visitors to appropriate personnel

• Graduation from high school or GED equivalent
• Two years’ general office experience, proficient in Excel, AutoCAD knowledge preferred
• A valid, or the ability to obtain, Alaska Driver’s License is required
• Area of domicile must be within the CVEA service territory
