Farmers Electric is currently seeking a Member Care Accounting Supervisor to join our rapidly growing cooperative. We are searching for a dedicated Member Care Accounting Supervisor who can coach and motivate employees as they field calls, handle billing, engage in collections and transaction management, and perform account maintenance for our members. This position is responsible for ensuring that every interaction our members have with Farmers Electric, whether it be over the phone, through email, or receiving a monthly bill, is a positive experience.

To succeed as a Member Care Accounting Supervisor, you should be focused on helping your team build the necessary skills and knowledge so they can better support our members in all areas. The ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure and navigate tense situations while helping your employees do the same is necessary. Applicants should be analytical, supportive, communicative, attentive, and intent on ensuring accuracy.

A bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5 years supervisory and call center/billing/customer relations experience is required. Experience with call center and customer relationship and sales management software including Salesforce and proficiency in Microsoft suite is required. Utility industry experience is a plus. Bilingual (English-Spanish) is desired.

The assigned hours will be Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm with occasional additional hours during peak seasons and critical processing periods. Member Care Accounting Supervisor will  report to our Greenville, Texas office. Because you will be working with confidential data, any remote work must be done from a home office which offers adequate privacy.
