Warehouse/Inventory Supervisor is responsible for detailed purchasing and perpetual inventory management processes/activities, daily cycle counting and reconciliations. Inventory accuracy, resource management, space utilization and quality compliance are crucial to the effective and efficient operation of the Cooperative performance and operation. This position supports period-end close and special projects as requested and works closely with managers to understand issues and how they impact financial results. During the absence of the Director of Logistics, the Warehouse/Inventory Supervisor assumes the responsibilities of the Director of Logistics.
• Bachelor's Degree Business Administration or Business-related field Required or • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job • 5-8 years Working knowledge of inventory management and cost accounting Required • 1-3 years Supervisor/management responsibility Required • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze and interpret data required • Must have an understanding of physical inventory, cycle counts, inventory adjustments and pick lists • Knowledge/training on OSHA General Industry safety standards is required • Familiarity with operating and maintaining powered forklifts and material handling equipment • Ability to plan, review, supervise, and inspect the work of others. • Valid Driver's License Upon Hire Required
