In preparation of an upcoming retirement, Polk-Burnett Electric Cooperative is seeking a full-time mechanic. This position will diagnose problems, make repairs, and perform routine maintenance on the cooperative’s vehicles and equipment in a timely, safe, and efficient manner. The successful candidate must have a high school or equivalent diploma. Completion of technical college or other recognized mechanic training program or equivalent desired. ASE certification, or ability to obtain certification within one year, is required for brakes, steering and suspension. Certification in electrical/electronic system diagnostics is required.
