Reports To: IT Helpdesk Supervisor
The IT Help Desk Intern provides first-level technical support to end users, assisting with hardware, software, and network-related issues. This role is designed to give hands-on experience in troubleshooting, customer service, and IT operations in a professional workplace setting.
Who We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for undergraduate or graduate students who are currently pursuing (or have recently completed) a degree or certification in:
Information Technology
Computer Science
Information Systems
Or a related field
Key Responsibilities:
As an IT Help Desk Intern, you will support the IT team by assisting with day-to-day technology needs across the cooperative.
Respond to helpdesk tickets, emails, and phone calls in a timely and professional manner
Provide basic troubleshooting support for:
Computers (Windows/Mac)
Printers and peripherals
Software applications
Network connectivity issues
Install, configure, and update software and hardware
Assist with user account setup, password resets, and access permissions
Document issues, solutions, and processes in the helpdesk system
Escalate complex technical issues to the IT Helpdesk Supervisor as needed
Support IT projects such as system upgrades, equipment deployment, and audits
Maintain inventory of IT equipment and assist with asset tracking
Follow company IT policies and security procedures
