Flint Hills Rural Electric is looking for a safety minded individual to work mostly outside as an Journeyman Lineworker. This position provides on-the-job training for the safe and efficient construction, replacement, operations, and maintenance of Flint Hill's electrical system. A Journeyman Lineworker must be able to climb poles, perform pole top rescue, lift heavy objects, and be able to work in weather extremes. Applicants must have excellent communication skills and be detail oriented. Nights, weekends, or holidays may be required. Before employment, candidate will be required to successfully pass a post-offer/pre-employment drug test, background check, and driver's license check. This position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, and a valid Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) and CDL Physical Card for operating commercial vehicles.
