OVERVIEW:
Maintain inventory accuracy and handle materials requests that come into the department which in effect aids the company in reaching short and long-term goals. The use of administrative, technical, and investigative skills in handling shipping and receiving processes is also essential in finding problems that would result in system failures that can impact different departments.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other related duties may be assigned. An individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and effectively. Reasonable accommodation may be available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
Issue and credit materials with a high degree of fill rates and accuracy.
Operate CDL equipment and other motorized equipment.
Coordinate with crews on material mainline priority requirements, materials staging, and change orders.
Process shipping and receiving.
Analyze Materials and Work Orders.
Collaborate over work orders.
Compile information for work orders and Inventory Accuracy via cycle and test counts.
Investigate discrepancies with work orders.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED is required.
A minimum of 1 year of previous experience in warehousing, inventory, or parts distribution is required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Ability to communicate both orally and in writing with all levels within the organization.
Possess basic math and computer skills to understand and properly utilize computer programs and applications such as MS Excel and Inventory Management software.
Ability to work individually or in a team environment.
Possess strong organizational skills.
Knowledge of generally accepted inventory management principles.
Perform all position responsibilities by NOVEC policies and procedures and OSHA/EPA safety standards.
Possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to utilize and apply specified competencies for this position as required.
