1st Class Line Technician
The 1st Class Line Technician performs numerous duties involved in the maintenance and construction of overhead and underground lines in both energized and de-energized states. The work often involves climbing poles and/or working out of a bucket truck when installing transformers, capacitors, regulators or other line equipment. The 1st Class Line Technician follows Cooperative, NEC, NESC, REA, OSHA and state and other regulatory agency rules and procedures in the conduct of their work. They have a working knowledge of the Cooperative's transmission and distribution system and of the line equipment which they install and maintain. The 1st Class Line Technician acts as lead on call out for outages on the duty crew. Reporting location: Bellville, TX
