Ravalli County Electric Cooperative (REC) is a member owned co-op headquartered in the heart of the Bitterroot Valley. REC’s mission is to meet a changing membership’s needs for reliable electric service and innovative energy solutions that are cost-based and affordable. REC’s full-time Tree Trimmer performs safe and efficient maintenance of power line rights-of-way by clearing and removing vegetation near cooperative and member power lines, including the removal of trees, brush, shrubs, and branches within right-of-way throughout the areas serviced by the cooperative.
