Access Energy Cooperative is seeking candidates for an Accountant position. The successful candidate will support the financial operations of the Cooperative by assisting with day-to-day accounting activities and financial reporting.

What you need/preferred to have:

• A minimum 4 year degree in accounting, business, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn industry specific software.

What you will do:

• Process accounts payable and miscellaneous accounts receivables.
• Reconcile credit card statements and bank deposits.
• Process patronage dividend claims and maintain accounts.
• Assist with audit preparation.
• Assist the CFO as needed.
