High school graduate or equivalent required. Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred. Two years of experience in a customer service and/or public relations function, is preferred.
Candidate must be able to:
- Read, write, speak and understand spoken English. With particularly good skills in listening, negotiating, and conflict resolution.
- Multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Perform very detailed work with a high degree of accuracy.
- Use computer hardware and software (Windows OS) to the degree necessary to perform the requirements of the position.
- Obtain and retain a N.C. Notary Public license.
- Effectively utilize the two?way radio.
- Apply general math and cash handling skills.
Maintain a valid NC Driver’s License, be insurable, and be able to operate a motorized vehicle without assistance. Regular schedule is Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.; subject to change as business needs require. Candidate must live within 30 miles of the Cooperative’s Lake Toxaway Office (298 Blue Ridge Rd. Lake Toxaway, NC).
