At Coweta-Fayette EMC, we don’t just deliver power… we power communities. And behind every line restored, every member served, and every community impact story…there’s a story worth telling.
We’re looking for a Digital Content Specialist who can capture those moments and turn them into compelling, scroll-stopping content.
This is a role for someone who sees creativity as a team sport—someone who brings ideas to the table, collaborates easily, and thrives in an environment where innovation is encouraged and ownership is expected.
What You’ll Do
You’ll serve as the visual storyteller for the cooperative—capturing, creating, and sharing content that connects with members, employees, and the community.
Content Creation & Storytelling
Capture and produce engaging photo and video content across field operations, community events, and employee initiatives
Create short-form video (Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.) that drives engagement and tells meaningful stories
Edit and produce content using mobile tools and Adobe Creative Suite
Support campaigns, promotions, and educational initiatives with strong visual content
Social Media & Engagement
Help manage day-to-day social media presence
Create, schedule, and publish content aligned with brand voice and strategy
Engage with members and monitor performance metrics to refine content
Field & Community Coverage
Get out of the office and capture real work happening in the field
Support storytelling for programs like Operation Round Up and community initiatives
Occasionally work evenings/weekends for events and content capture
Collaboration & Growth
Work closely with a collaborative communications team to execute ideas
Bring fresh, creative concepts to expand digital reach
Support website updates and broader communication efforts
What You Bring
2–4 years of experience in digital content, social media, or communications
Strong photography and videography skills
Experience creating short-form video content
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
A creative mindset with the confidence to share ideas
Ability to work both in-office and in the field
A team-first attitude with a high level of ownership
Why This Role Matters
This position isn’t just about content, it’s about connection.
Your work will help members better understand their cooperative, build trust in the communities we serve, and highlight the people behind the power.
If you’re someone who loves storytelling, thrives in a collaborative environment, and wants your work to have real impact—we’d love to meet you.
